Responsibilities
- Perform 3D modeling, design annotations, and 2D deliverables in compliance with QCD commitments.
- Model and store allocated volumes and interfaces for subsystems, components, and compartments in Digital Mock-Up.
- Conduct detailed design on internal subsystems.
- Verify the consistency of the digital mock-up and compliance with requirements such as allocated volumes, weight, and interfaces.
- Prepare and document Train Design Design Reviews and support Project Design Gates.
- Update Digital Mock-Up to incorporate approved Change Requests.
- Check the quality of CADs and subcontractors' designs.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 5 years of experience or understanding of transportation-related mechanical engineering.
- Knowledge of 3D/2D CAD software, such as Solidworks, AutoCAD, or Catia V5.
- Familiarity with MS Office tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Time management and multitasking skills.
- Knowledge of digital mock-up processes and tools.
