Responsibilities
- Monitor employees for compliance with regulations and operating practices.
- Initiate action for non-compliance in a consistent and fair manner.
- Manage employees and train operations to optimize On-Time Performance (OTP).
- Respond to service disruptions within the area of responsibility.
- Enforce safety plans and maintain understanding of operating, PTC, and safety rules.
- Provide comprehensive written and oral reports.
- Collaborate with transverse teams to optimize train operations.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Transportation, Business, or related field or equivalent work experience.
- Experience or understanding of supervisory roles within an FRA regulated railroad environment.
- Knowledge of FRA Regulations on Operating rules GCOR, Timetable, and Special Instructions.
- Familiarity with the physical layout and operation of the Authority’s rail system.
- Locomotive Engineer Certification.
- Passion and attitude for the role, with a willingness to grow.
- Ability to work in a safety-focused environment.
