Responsibilities
- Provide technical direction for site activities to ensure safety, compliance, and quality.
- Perform mechanical and hydraulic maintenance, repair, or replacement of parts.
- Conduct general maintenance of Aeroderivative Gas Turbines using hand and power tools.
- Execute hands-on job duties, including sub-contractor coordination and communication.
- Troubleshoot complicated mechanical and hydraulic problems on turbines.
- Oversee, overhaul, troubleshoot, and commission Aeroderivative products at customer sites.
- Ensure all in-field activities comply with environmental health & safety guidelines.
Job Requirements
- Technical degree and 4+ years of experience as a mechanical technician on gas turbines.
- Good mechanical/technical and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge of installation and maintenance of rotating equipment.
- Experience in a mechanical role in an energy or oil and gas environment.
- Customer service-oriented mindset with experience in decision-making.
- Ability to communicate complex technical information effectively.
- Awareness of Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance.
