Responsibilities
- Serve as a technical expert for autonomous systems, managing system-level requirements and safety metrics.
- Define and trace system and subsystem requirements across hardware and software.
- Develop frameworks for optimizing performance, safety, and cost.
- Establish testing standards and processes in collaboration with engineering teams.
- Support design decisions and compliance with safety regulations.
- Conduct quantitative risk analysis using fault trees and other models.
- Ensure system functionality continues despite faults through fail-safe design.
Job Requirements
- Experience as an Architect or Systems Engineer for complex systems.
- Ability to solve multidisciplinary problems independently.
- Proven success in implementing program requirements and verification processes.
- Experience with systems resilient to extreme conditions and electrical noise.
- Proficiency in systems modeling and statistical analysis tools.
- M.S. or higher degree in relevant engineering disciplines or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with high-integrity systems and regulatory approvals.
