Mechanical Engineer

Snap Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their Snap Lab hardware team, focusing on pushing the boundaries of camera technology with a world-class research & development team.

• Design and develop new products and systems, primarily micro-displays and related technologies
• Support manufacturing process and design improvements
• Conduct thermal and stress analysis, test, and evaluation
• Opto-mechanical and electromechanical design
• Troubleshoot and validate design performance
• Perform complex tolerance analysis
• Fabricate and assemble mechanical systems

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 3+ years of experience as a mechanical engineer
• Knowledge of mechanical engineering fundamentals
• Skilled at utilizing 3D CAD modeling software
• Ability to own projects and manage time/resources autonomously
• Experience in product design and development
• Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
