Internship, Industrial Engineer, Manufacturing (Summer 2025)

The position is an internship opportunity within the Industrial Engineering Team at Tesla, focusing on optimizing manufacturing and material flow processes.

• Utilize work measurement to optimize factory and material flow processes
• Develop layout and production line alternatives
• Conduct work measurement studies for production equipment, conveyance, and human work
• Conduct capacity studies and static sensitivity analyses to improve line throughput

• Pursuing a degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Systems Engineering or related field
• Exposure to lean manufacturing principles and concepts
• Comfortable in a high expectations environment
• Software skills in MySQL, basic Excel, and flowcharting software
• Previous experience in production control, material flow, manufacturing, or process engineering
