Responsibilities
- Principal design of Level 1 - 3 Electric Vehicle Chargers
- Controls system design and optimization
- Design of electrical and mechanical parameters for power magnetics
- Schematic, PCB Layout design and design verification
- Translate customer requirements into design strategy
- Conduct engineering analysis and select materials
- Mentor less experienced engineering staff
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- 2-6 years of power electronics engineering experience on electrical assemblies
- Familiarity with industry standard protocols like SAE J1772, CAN, and Power Line Communication
- Experience in design for EMC and circuit board layout
- Ability to develop technical solutions from concept through production
- Strong communication and mentoring skills
- Proficiency in engineering documentation and analysis
