Skild AI is looking for a Robotics Engineer to work on developing and implementing software solutions for manipulation systems.
Responsibilities
- Design algorithms, models, and techniques for robotic manipulation tasks.
- Develop hardware and software systems for robotic manipulation tasks.
- Write controllers and perception stacks for real-world robotic deployment.
- Maintain production-level C++ and Python code for robotic manipulation platforms.
- Collaborate with machine learning engineers to deploy models on robots.
- Optimize robotic software for performance, reliability, and scalability.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience in designing robotic manipulation systems and deploying software on real robots.
- Proficiency in Python and deep learning libraries.
- Understanding of robotics concepts like kinematics, dynamics, and motion planning.
- Familiarity with ROS/ROS2 and simulators.
- Publications in ML, robotics, or CV conferences.
- Experience with robot hardware design and computer vision algorithms.
