Electrical Engineer

The job is for a Full-Time Senior Electrical Engineer at UCSF Facilities Services Department.

• Operate independently in a professional specialized engineering phase of major construction projects
• Perform design engineering work for projects of limited scope
• Improve design of physical plant engineering systems
• Design, monitor, and troubleshoot new construction and alteration projects
• Review project plans and specifications for new and retrofit projects
• Troubleshoot electrical distribution systems and equipment
• Coordinate with various departments and engineering specialties for project goals

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related area
• 3-5 years of related experience
• Professional engineering license
• Strong project management skills
• Proficiency in CAD tools and AutoCAD (electrical)
• Knowledge of high voltage systems specifications and electrical calculations
• Effective communication and presentation skills
