Propulsion Engineer (Merlin Main Injector)

The position is for a Propulsion Engineer focusing on the Merlin Main Injector Assembly at SpaceX.

• Support build, test, and flight of Merlin main injector assemblies
• Generate accurate CAD models and drawings
• Review structural analysis on main injector components
• Work with manufacturing engineers for correct production
• Lead design, manufacturing, and reliability improvements
• Resolve issues encountered with the main injector
• Support engine test teams for development and qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline
• 1+ years of experience in combustion devices or engine design
• Strong fundamentals of structural mechanics and fluid flow
• Experience with stress analysis and fatigue calculations
• Hands-on experience with rocket engines or similar systems
• Proficient with Siemens NX and DFMA
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure
