Northrop Grumman is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer / Principal Manufacturing Engineer to join their Aeronautics Systems sector in Melbourne, Florida.
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance to Engineering on manufacturing techniques
- Participate in tool design reviews
- Define sequence of operations for product builds
- Investigate and initiate corrective actions for non-conforming products
- Identify improvement opportunities for producibility and affordability
- Provide technical solutions to complex problems
- Act as the technical representative voice for the Manufacturing organization
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
- Experience in NX, Catia, CAD, and/or related Computer aided design programs
- Ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret Clearance and Special Access Program
- Experience with composite layup, work instructions, GD&T, and manufacturing engineering
- This role involves working on revolutionary systems in the aerospace sector, providing technical solutions and driving innovation in manufacturing processes. Travel may be required up to 10% of the time.
