Electrical Component Engineer

The role is for a Components Engineer at Korry Electronics, focusing on developing safety critical avionics control products with embedded computing platforms.

• Execute and manage the Electronic Component Management Plan (ECMP) systems.
• Track electronic component obsolescence and find alternates.
• Review new electronic component selections to meet product requirements.
• Evaluate Pb-free component substitutions and identify high-risk components.
• Address component issues with cross-functional teams.
• Facilitate component engineering customer and supplier audits.
• Respond to compliance inquiries against regulations.

• Engineering degree in electrical, electronics, mechatronics, or mechanical.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a highly regulated industry.
• Knowledge of industry concerns related to component selection and management.
• Proficiency in Electrical CAD for schematic libraries.
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a process-heavy design environment.
• Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills.
