Mechanical Engineering Intern (Summer 2025)

IMEG Corp. is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern in Woodbury, NY, to work on engineering analysis, design, and implementation of mechanical systems for the vertical building industry.

• Assist with design portions of a project related to discipline systems
• Research resources for commercially available equipment
• Maintain good client relations and provide documentation
• Coordinate design and schedule with other disciplines
• Document design decisions and progress
• Review project documents for accuracy
• Conduct job site observations and other required services

• Strong interest in design consulting
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and AutoCAD/BIM software
• Clear communication skills
• Completed at least 2 years towards a BS in Mechanical Engineering
• Prior internship experience preferred
• Physical requirements include lifting objects up to 25 pounds and exposure to weather conditions and loud noises.
