Mechanical Engineering Intern

DLR Group is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern for a seasonal position in Summer 2025, offering approximately 40 hours of work per week in the office.

• Assist in designing mechanical systems for new construction and building renovation projects
• Attend design team meetings and observe coordination among team members
• Aid in the design and development of construction documents primarily using Revit
• Visit active construction sites and develop HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection designs

• Enrolled in an ABET-accredited Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering program
• Eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship
• Interest in architectural building design
• Experience or interest with BIM workflow, such as Autodesk Revit MEP
• At least a third-year student in an accredited engineering program
