Responsibilities
- Design and continuously improve system controls architecture
- Develop controls code utilizing structured text on Codesys platforms
- Implement system optimizations and drive real-time implementations
- Launch, test, and debug systems in lab and field environments
- Develop tools for system monitoring and troubleshooting
- Contribute to value engineering of system's electrical and controls hardware components
- Collaborate with hardware, science, and operations teams on systems design and implementation
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of professional software development experience
- Experience in motion control systems for robotics or industrial automation
- BS/MS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Knowledge of programming languages, IEC standards, and Version Control GIT
- Familiarity with systems engineering fundamentals and Functional Safety standards
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and testing practices
