Electrical Engineer - Distribution

Duquesne Light Company is looking for a Distribution Engineer to join their team in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

• Support the Manager and team in preparing third-party attachment application process.
• Review applications for completeness and provide timely replies to contractors/customers.
• Facilitate As Built process and construction work order Schedule coordination meetings.
• Provide guidance on distribution engineering design with applicable standards.
• Complete necessary utility sketch, AutoCAD design, and utility completion in adherence with company policy.
• Work with Distribution Designers to ensure sound engineering principles are employed.
• Attend preliminary field review meetings with customers to determine scope of work.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited college/university required.
• 2 years of related experience required.
• Extensive knowledge of FCC/PUC regulations associated with Communication and Broadband deployment.
