Controls Engineer

Fives DyAG Corp. is seeking a Controls Engineer for their Seattle, WA office.

• Create and commission industrial controls systems, PLC software, and HMI screens for various industries.
• Develop PLC/HMI code, install code, debug on-site, and commission complete systems.
• Program peripheral devices, machine PLCs, coordinate machine debug and validation.
• Ensure systems are designed to customer and build specifications.
• Travel to customer sites for system installation and startup.

• 2+ years of Controls Engineering/PLC/HMI programming experience.
• Proficiency in Rockwell Allen Bradley or Siemens PLC programming.
• Experience with hardware design using AutoCAD, Promise-E, or ePlan.
• Ability to write code/ladder logic from scratch.
• Prior experience in automotive manufacturing integration and commissioning.
• Familiarity with field bus networks such as DeviceNet, Ethernet I/P, Profibus, ProfiNet, etc.
• AS or BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering.
