Mechanical Engineer

Near Earth Autonomy is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to work on autonomous flight systems for aviation applications.

• Design, analyze, and test prototype systems for autonomous aviation.
• Define requirements and document tasks for project teams.
• Interface with production department for assembly and integration work.
• Lead the development of various systems from prototypes to production.
• Stay updated on electromechanical system trends and technology advancements.
• Work on a quick development tempo and adapt to changing requirements.
• Bring new autonomy technology to life through innovative design and problem-solving.

• Minimum of one product design/build/delivery cycle experience.
• Proficiency in Solidworks and design for manufacturability.
• Strong team collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with rapid prototyping methods and detailed drawings creation.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years of industry experience.
