Intern Engineer - Civil, Electrical - Summer 2025

HNTB is seeking intern engineers for Summer 2025 in various areas at their Los Angeles and LAX Airport Offices.

• Assist engineer teams in various tasks and duties.
• Assist with research, development, and design of projects.
• Assist with the preparation of engineering drawings and documents.
• Perform other assigned duties.

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent with current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary engineering program.
• Understanding of engineering, geometric, and algebraic principles at a basic level.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to perform basic engineering calculations.
• Ability to organize information for use in drawings or other documents.
• Completion of 2 years of post-secondary Civil or Electrical engineering program preferred.
• AutoCAD and/or Microstation experience preferred.
