Sloan, a leading manufacturer of commercial plumbing systems, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for their facility in Andover, MA. The role involves developing and specifying manufacturing processes for electronic product lines.
Responsibilities
- Determine and establish manufacturing engineering requirements
- Support shop floor personnel in troubleshooting
- Prepare routings, work instructions, and process drawings
- Recommend and implement new equipment and processes
- Analyze and optimize existing manufacturing processes
- Assist in product design for manufacturing
- Identify and implement cost reductions
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial engineering technology
- 8+ years of industry-related experience
- Ability to collaborate with coworkers and vendors
- Experience with LEAN manufacturing techniques
- Strong analytical and communication skills
