Manufacturing Process Engineer III

Hunter Douglas is seeking a driven and creative individual to join their team as a Senior Engineer responsible for developing and modifying facilities, systems, processes, or equipment.

• Professionally engineer, design, and build prototype and production machinery
• Conduct performance tests on production equipment and processes
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate with other Engineers for new product introductions
• Originate ideas for processes, production equipment, or tools
• Prepare cost analysis for proposed changes in manufacturing processes
• Communicate with Equipment Operators and Maintenance Technicians for equipment troubleshooting
• Prepare analysis and tracking of all capital costs associated with production equipment or processes

• Four-year college degree in Engineering
• Solid knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and industrial engineering
• Expertise in project management and machining
• Strong communication skills
• Familiarity with PLC’s, computer software, and manufacturing processes
