Quality Engineer

The Quality Advisor role at Celestica involves generating quality standards, providing technical consultation, and leading the team to solve technical and process issues.

• Develop and maintain quality system procedures and workmanship standards.
• Define protocols on process and product problem-solving methods such as FMEA, 8D, CCB, ISO, etc.
• Provide training, guidance, and decision-making for the team.
• Explore advanced technology and methodologies to enhance process and product quality control.
• Lead task force teams to address challenges from products, materials, and processes.
• Provide quality engineering services to meet customer satisfaction.
• Conduct trainings, guidance, and decision-making for the team.

• In-depth knowledge of ISO and IPC standards and processes.
• Strong understanding of quality tools such as FMEA, PMP, SPC, 8D methodology, Six Sigma, and Lean Kaizen.
• Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
• Knowledge of software for generating reports and presenting data.
• Strong knowledge of product and manufacturing processes.
• Understanding of how decisions impact customer satisfaction, product quality, and profitability.
• Physical ability to sit/stand, walk, and concentrate visually on small areas.
