Manufacturing Engineering Intern

The job involves operating manufacturing equipment, conducting experiments, providing technical support, testing and building assemblies, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

• Operate manufacturing equipment and conduct experiments
• Provide technical support to engineers and scientists
• Test, modify, and build electronic, optical, or mechanical assemblies
• Design and test prototype assemblies
• Interpret and follow documents such as SOPs and safety rules
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements
• Interface with other departments for efficient flow of information and materials

• Enrolled in a 4-year degree program or 2-year Masters program in related engineering fields
• Strong decision-making and leadership skills
• Experience with handling small delicate components and using ESD practices
• Familiarity with soldering, wire bonding, and safe handling of chemicals
• Proficiency in computer applications like Access, Excel, and Labview
• Good hand and eye coordination
