Controls Engineer

The role involves working under the supervision of the Manager of R&D to develop advanced control systems for robotic manipulators and electromechanical systems, including motion control, servo tuning, dynamic modeling, simulations, and software implementation.

• Develop advanced control systems for robotic manipulators and electromechanical systems.
• Conduct motion control and servo tuning.
• Develop dynamic models and perform modeling and simulations in Matlab.
• Implement software on real-time platforms.
• Analyze controls-related machine design and select actuators, sensors, and other components.
• Limited travel within and outside the US.

• M.S./Ph.D. degree in Computer, Mechanical, Electrical, Aeronautic, or similar engineering field.
• Skilled in mathematical modeling and analysis.
• Familiarity with system dynamics and control systems theory.
• Hands-on experience with control systems and tuning.
• Proficiency in MATLAB for data analysis and control simulation.
• Experience in C and C++ programming for Linux and embedded systems.
• Some experience in electronic circuit design, prototyping, and troubleshooting.
