Senior Electrical Engineer

Lightship is seeking an Electrical Engineer to contribute to the development of a complex power system for their all-electric recreational vehicles.

• Create board requirements based on product requirements
• Analyze and select electrical components
• Design main control and interface circuitry for the vehicle
• Test and verify completed PCBAs
• Collaborate with software team for functionality verification
• Develop and execute test suite for performance and reliability
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to the electrical engineering team

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Master's degree preferred
• Minimum 7 years of experience in electrical design engineering
• Proficiency in electrical schematics and control circuitry
• Experience in microprocessor and peripheral design
• Familiarity with communication hardware interfaces
• Knowledge of circuit simulation and PCB layout tools
• Understanding of EMI/EMC, electric power systems, and automotive standards
