Mechanical Engineer

Freeform is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to work on deploying software-defined, autonomous metal 3D printing factories worldwide.

• Act as a responsible engineer in bringing hardware from concept to production
• Research, develop, design, and test complex mechanical components and systems
• Perform tolerance analysis and plan tests for equipment and systems
• Build, integrate, and validate designs and systems
• Develop continuous improvement plans for system performance

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering
• Hands-on design experience from internships or engineering clubs
• Full life-cycle hardware design experience
• Proficiency in mechanical engineering fundamentals and problem-solving
• Advanced degree and 4+ years of experience are a plus
