Staff Engineer, Mechanical Design

The position is for a Mechanical Engineering role within a market-leading Hardware Design Group, focusing on mechanical engineering assignments related to hardware products and systems development.

• Interface with potential customers to define needs and present technical proposals
• Lead mechanical engineer on critical projects
• Provide design feedback and development on projects
• Participate in cross-functional teams for designing and documenting assemblies
• Develop new technologies and provide technical support for business development
• Stay updated on industry trends and technologies
• Supervise and mentor junior engineers

• Proficiency in 3D solid modeling and MCAD software (preferably Creo)
• In-depth knowledge of engineering design, development, and production
• Familiarity with high-speed PCBA system design and electromechanical design
• Experience with design tradeoffs in mechanical design, thermal management, and hardware design
• Ability to manage multiple projects and lead diverse teams
• Prior experience with liquid cooling systems and ECAD/MCAD collaboration
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
