Amazon Robotics - Product Development Engineer Co-Op - Spring 2025, Design Engineering Services

This is a 6-month co-op opportunity with Amazon Robotics in the Greater Boston Area, focusing on product development engineering.

• Creating mechanisms, processes, and/or documentation to improve product development process
• Gathering, analyzing, and documenting functional/technical requirements
• Driving resolutions within the supply chain network and addressing design issues
• Proposing design changes to enhance product manufacturability and testability
• Supporting the design and implementation of production manufacturing tools
• Participating in brainstorming sessions and supporting prototype testing
• Writing and evaluating Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
• Availability for a full-time 6-month co-op between January - July 2025
• Ability to travel up to 15% required
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software and Product Lifecycle Management tools
• Hands-on experience with drawing creation and engineering documentation
• Problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills
• Coursework in Mechanics of Materials, Manufacturing Processes, and Design for Manufacturing
