Systems Engineer

The role is for a Systems Engineer to work on the Astra Spacecraft Engine (ASE) product line, focusing on electric propulsion systems.

• Learn and apply systems engineering approaches to ASE systems
• Develop and maintain system performance and design requirements
• Support testing, manufacturing, and production troubleshooting
• Provide engineering support for on-orbit systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams

• Minimum B.S. degree in aerospace, mechanical engineering, or electrical engineering
• Experience in professional engineering industry or R&D role
• Desired: M.S. or Ph.D. in engineering, experience with spacecraft electric propulsion systems, systems engineering knowledge, experience with engineering software tools, strong communication skills
