Mechanical Engineer

Loft Orbital is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to own hardware development for Loft satellites, collaborating with various teams and performing structural and thermal analysis.

• Own hardware from conceptual design through production
• Develop design criteria and drive system optimization
• Perform detailed structural and thermal analysis
• Support testing on hardware to validate analysis
• Demonstrate strong ownership of technical deliverables and operations

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
• 1+ year of design experience using 3D CAD software
• Evidence of successful hardware ownership
• Passion for the company and position
• Articulate and able to handle customer meetings
