Enterprise Systems Engineer

The role is for an Enterprise Systems Engineer at Meta, focusing on building, scaling, and securing Meta's corporate infrastructure with a specific emphasis on the Linux environment.

• Build, scale, and secure Meta's corporate infrastructure
• Combine open-source and commercial technologies to impact the business
• Work in a diverse environment of operating systems and applications
• Apply modern engineering methodologies to scale Meta's infrastructure
• Find solutions leveraging the scale of Meta's infrastructure for Enterprise customers
• Act as the final escalation point for issues related to Enterprise Linux systems
• Produce scalable, automated, and well-documented systems

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of system administration experience in a Linux environment
• 2+ years of shell scripting experience
• 2+ years of coding experience in PHP, Ruby, Python, or Go
• 2+ years of experience with monitoring and configuration management tools such as Puppet and Chef
