Mechanical Engineer Co-op

The role is for a Mechanical Engineering Co-op position at Nokia for a duration of 4 months in locations such as Sunnyvale, CA and New York, NY.

• Design advanced packaging components and test fixtures using 3D software.
• Perform mechanical integrity and thermal simulations.
• Drive prototype assembly builds for design validation.
• Apply knowledge of Design for Manufacturing principles.
• Manage advanced packaging components in the Bill of Materials.

• Experience with 3D CAD design and tolerance analysis.
• Knowledge of thermal and thermo-mechanical simulations.
• Experience with documentation of fabrication and assembly processes.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Familiarity with design for manufacturing of packaging is a plus.
