Mechanical Engineer Co-op (Maritime)

Anduril Industries is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Co-op to assist in designing, building, and testing novel Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs).

• Design and prototype AUV systems, subsystems, and mechanisms
• Improve design for manufacturability to reduce cost and time
• Perform subsystem and system testing, including AUV operations
• Design and fabricate novel payloads and subsystems for AUV integration
• Travel to test sites as required

• Currently enrolled in Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related field
• Rising senior status at the time of internship
• Desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Experience with fabrication processes and CAD
• Proficiency with 3D design tools
• U.S. Person status required
• Ability to complete up to a 6-month Co-op tenure
