Controls Engineer, Capture

Deep Sky is seeking an experienced Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to aid in designing and engineering their state-of-the-art facility, Deep Sky Labs, focused on carbon reduction through direct air capture systems.

• Design, develop, and maintain instrumentation and control for DAC operations
• Develop control strategies to optimize DAC process performance
• Monitor and analyze system performance, identifying areas for improvement
• Prepare technical documentation and provide technical leadership
• Stay updated on advancements in electrical engineering and direct air capture technologies

• In-depth knowledge of sensors, calibration, control systems, and data acquisition
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field, Master’s preferred
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in electrical and instrumentation engineering
• Proficient in PLC-based control systems, P&ID drawings, and data analysis
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
