Engineer, Carbon Capture

Deep Sky is a gigaton-scale carbon removal project developer focused on building carbon removal infrastructure projects and selling carbon credits. They are seeking a Carbon Capture Engineer to aid in the design and engineering of direct air capture facilities.

• Assist in designing and developing efficient processes for direct air balance of plants
• Collaborate with teams to identify process improvement opportunities
• Conduct simulations and modeling to optimize carbon capture technologies
• Collect and analyze data to optimize process parameters
• Develop and maintain process documentation
• Participate in risk assessments and corrective action initiatives
• Provide technical support during construction and operation phases

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• Previous experience in carbon capture or related technologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in process modeling software
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
• Willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies
