Responsibilities
- Design, build, and own the electrical power and controls rack for the pilot laser furnace
- Develop the human machine interface for operating the laser furnace
- Implement engineering safety controls on all furnace subsystems
- Work on furnace design, installation, and integration with electrical rack and controls system
- Develop and maintain internal practices and documentation on electrical hardware and controls software
Job Requirements
- 5+ years experience in designing and building electrical and controls platforms
- Expertise in programming real-time control systems and human machine interfaces
- Experience with high power electronics and power supplies
- Ability to work in a team-oriented and fast-paced startup environment
- Desired qualifications include experience with lasers, vacuum pumps, high-temperature equipment, and chillers.
