Mechanical Engineer

Meta is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join their Accelerator Design Team, focusing on mechanical design and optimization for new accelerator module and ASIC packages.

• Engage with Hardware Design and Data Center Operations teams
• Validate product performance using design and simulation tools
• Conduct tolerance analysis, motion studies, and performance studies
• Design, prototype, and test module products for custom AI ASICs
• Create test plans, design test equipment, and conduct testing procedures

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or mechatronic engineering
• 5+ years of experience in designing and shipping commercial products
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software like Creo or SolidWorks
• Experience with FEA and CFD optimization for product designs
• Strong communication, documentation, and issue resolution skills
