H3X is seeking mechanical engineering interns for Summer 2025 to work on prototype development for integrated motor drives.
Responsibilities
- Identify root cause of failures
- Establish requirements for sub-systems
- Compile & source Bill of Materials
- Design parts & assemblies using SolidWorks
- Perform tolerance stack-ups & convey via GD&T
- Create build instructions & Design Validation Plan
- Integrate sub-system into full system & support production builds
Job Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering
- GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Hands-on experience with mechanical systems
- Proficiency in SolidWorks
- Strong communication skills
- Results-driven mentality
- Willingness to learn quickly
