Electrical Design Engineer

The role involves designing and releasing electrical wiring and electronic components for heavy commercial trucks, ensuring quality and reliability standards are met, and resolving field issues.

• Design and release electrical wiring and electronic components for heavy commercial trucks.
• Integrate various electrical subsystems into the vehicle electrical system.
• Manage engineering and project management processes to maintain schedule, budget, and functionality.
• Investigate and resolve warranty issues for powertrain electrical related claims.
• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure quality heavy-duty truck electrical designs.
• Support launch at truck assembly plants and resolve field issues as needed.
• Ensure industry-leading quality and reliability on all components.

• BSEE or equivalent degree required; MS in CS or EE preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in designing automotive or commercial vehicle electrical components.
• Proficiency in using Engineering tools such as Siemens Capital, Creo, Windchill.
• Awareness of heavy-duty commercial truck regulations impacting electrical and electronic design.
