Mechanical Engineer - Facilities

The role is for a Facilities Engineer at SpaceX, where the focus is on designing, building, and activating infrastructure to support the company's long-term mission of enabling human life on Mars.

• Lead MEP engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning process
• Develop design documentation for aerospace, industrial, and commercial projects
• Manage construction contracts and resolve conflicts
• Coordinate with utility providers for reliable power service
• Interact with various stakeholders and project members
• Ensure critical site infrastructure reliability
• Troubleshoot and assist with repair in high-stress environments

• Bachelor's degree in engineering
• 3+ years of experience in MEP systems design or build
• Knowledge of electrical and power distribution systems
• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, and critical power infrastructure
• Ability to work in hazardous environments
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with relevant codes and standards
