Junior Electrical Controls Engineer

The role involves selecting components, programming sensors and pneumatic control components, writing and debugging PLCs, creating electrical schematics, and collaborating with Mechanical Engineering members.

• Select components and layout electrical control panels under supervision
• Program sensors and pneumatic control components
• Write and debug PLCs, HMIs, and motion control programs
• Create electrical schematics and bill of material
• Assist in the development of standards and procedures
• Collaborate with Mechanical Engineering members
• Travel to customer sites for system installation and modifications

• Experience in Allen-Bradley PLC’s, HMI’s, AutoCAD
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology
• Literate in AutoCAD for electrical design
• Knowledge of electrical schematic software
• Interest in PLC and HMI programming
• Interest in hands-on machine work
• Good organizational and communication skills
