Mechanical Engineer (Summer 2025) - Forensics

Thornton Tomasetti is seeking an Entry Level Mechanical Engineer to join their Forensic practice in New York, focusing on investigating problems in the built environment and providing evidence-based solutions.

• Support Engineering team with field investigations, analysis, and design.
• Assist with damage assessment and cause and origin investigations.
• Prepare field notes, feasibility studies, and technical reports.
• Coordinate with various stakeholders and prepare construction drawings.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
• Interest in mechanical investigation/design of buildings and industrial systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant software.
