Product Design Engineer

Snap Inc. is seeking a Product Design Engineer to join the Snap Lab team focused on hardware products, particularly Next Generation Spectacles.

• Design, prototype, and analyze new products and components
• Collaborate with various teams and conduct failure analysis for design improvements
• Support development builds at external suppliers and manufacturers
• Create detailed design models and documentation for production
• Conduct technical experiments and lead design reviews
• Travel internationally up to 20%

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 3+ years of industry experience
• Proficiency in 3D CAD, product design, and manufacturing methods
• Strong communication skills and ability to present ideas effectively
• Experience with consumer electronics, mechanical design, and overseas manufacturing
• Knowledge of materials, tolerance analysis, and structural analysis
• Experience with Nx CAD software
