Electrical Design Engineer (E)

The role is for Electrical Design Engineers at KLA, focusing on PCB and system design opportunities.

• Produce PCB designs, schematics, and collaborate with layout engineers.
• Work with FPGA and firmware engineers to test full PCB systems.
• Produce electrical system designs and collaborate with mechanical engineers.
• Design power distribution, interconnection diagrams, safety interlocks, and supporting hardware.
• Ensure everything meets requirements and is easily serviceable.
• Utilize skills in AC power distribution, programmable logic controllers, cable and fiber optic design, and soldering.
• Communicate effectively and work on cross-disciplinary teams.

• Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience with OrCAD PCB, Altium, PADS, or Eagle; ADS, Hyperlynx simulation is a plus.
• Familiarity with electronic blocks, power supply regulators, isolators, op-amps, ADCs/DACs.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in teams.
