Product Design Engineer

Snap Inc is seeking a Product Design Engineer to join their Snap Lab team, focusing on hardware products and pushing the boundaries of camera technology.

• Design, prototype, and analyze new products and components
• Collaborate with various engineering teams and stakeholders
• Conduct failure analysis and implement design improvements
• Support development builds at external suppliers
• Create detailed design models and documentation
• Lead technical design reviews
• Travel internationally up to 20%

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 3+ years of industry experience
• Proficiency in 3D CAD and 2D documentation
• Strong communication skills
• Technical background in product design and manufacturing methods
• Experience with mechanical design of electronic components and overseas manufacturing
• Preferred: MS in mechanical engineering, experience with consumer electronics, and Nx CAD software
