Electrical Engineer, Reality Labs

The role is for an Electrical Engineer at Meta Reality Labs working on AR, VR, or New Technology Team to design, build, and test prototype electrical systems for future consumer experiences within Facebook’s Family of Products.

• Contribute to subsystem development
• Design schematics, evaluate components, and direct board layout
• Manage bring up and debug, support manufacturing and assembly build
• Collaborate across engineering disciplines
• Evaluate vendor reference designs and transform them into custom solutions
• Contribute to community building and diversity goals
• Travel domestically and internationally

• BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Experience with schematic and board design using Cadence OrCAD, Altium, or equivalent
• Knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals
• Technical communication skills
• Experience with high-speed digital test equipment
• Familiarity with consumer product development processes
• Ability to work in a distributed team environment
