Electrical System Engineer

The role is for an Electrical Systems Engineer III at Humanscale, responsible for designing and implementing electrical systems, managing the product development cycle, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

• Engage in all stages of product development cycle.
• Define requirements and specifications for electrical/electronic products.
• Manage development through phase-gate process.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
• Lead the electrical product roadmap definition.
• Provide technical mentorship to team members.
• Research and evaluate new technologies for product inclusion.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in designing electrical/electronic products.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Experience with failure mode analysis and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent technical writing, communication, and project management skills.
• Knowledge of relevant standards.
• Ability to travel and lift 40 pounds.
