The Austin Company is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to work on building electrical power distribution, lighting, and various low voltage systems for projects.
Responsibilities
- Prepare working drawings and perform detailed calculations for projects
- Prepare technical reports and establish design criteria
- Visit sites for rehabilitation projects
- Select equipment and evaluate vendor bids
- Review design drawings and coordinate with other disciplines
- Inspect construction projects and resolve issues
- Maintain knowledge of codes and procedures
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
- 5-15 years of related experience
- Professional Registration preferred
- Proficiency in software like Revit
- Ability to travel up to 20%
- Capable of working on a computer for prolonged periods
- Physically able to lift up to 20 pounds and navigate construction sites
