Intern/Co-op - Gathering and Processing Mechanical/Civil/Electrical/Petroleum/Chemical Engineer (Summer 2025)

The role is for an Engineer intern/co-op at MPC, focusing on managing various aspects of assigned projects within a budget and schedule.

• Manage all aspects of assigned projects from feasibility review to construction oversight
• Collaborate with departments during project initiation and development
• Manage pipeline integrity repair programs and maintenance projects
• Work with field construction teams and ensure proper execution aligned with company directives
• Monitor project performance and control project parameters
• Coordinate with Procurement in developing a contracting plan
• Identify and manage risk factors throughout the project lifecycle

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Petroleum, or Chemical Engineering
• Strong academic performance
• Authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis
• Availability for multiple work terms and to work 40 hours per week
• Valid driver's license required
• Concurrent enrollment in a degree seeking program
• Military experience a plus
