The position is for an Aircraft Structural Analysis Engineer responsible for developing aircraft interior and interfacing components to create lightweight solutions for Executive and Commercial Aircraft.
Responsibilities
- Perform static analysis for design substantiation of aircraft structures
- Validate aircraft components and structures
- Compile analytical results into reports
- Provide technical guidance to design engineers
- Ensure engineering data compliance with policies and requirements
- Apply technical principles to solve engineering problems
- Mentor and guide junior engineers
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
- 6 to 8 years of related engineering experience
- Proficiency in static analysis and fatigue and damage tolerance
- Experience with FEM software like FEMAP, HyperWorks, PATRAN
- Knowledge of design optimization software like INSPIRE
- Familiarity with aircraft stress analysis methods and CATIA V5
- Strong computer skills and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
